Inviting Teammates
Manage your organization's Scrubby access — invite members, assign roles, and control seats.
Teams in Scrubby are scoped to GitHub organizations. When you sign in with GitHub, Scrubby detects your organizations and lets you set up a Team or Enterprise plan per org.
This guide covers the day-to-day operations: inviting members, assigning roles, and managing seats.
Roles
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Invite and remove members, change roles, manage seats, manage billing |
| Member | Use all Scrubby features (MCP tools, PR reviews) for the org’s repositories |
Every organization must have at least one admin at all times. If the last admin leaves, ownership transfers to the next-most-recent admin or the longest-tenured member.
Inviting a member
From the Team page in the dashboard:
- Click Invite member.
- Enter the GitHub username or email address.
- Choose a role (Admin or Member).
- Send the invite.
The invitee must have a Scrubby account already (free trial counts). Invitations expire after 14 days — resend if the user hasn’t accepted by then.
Invitations consume seats. If you don’t have enough seats, you’ll be prompted to add more before the invite goes out.
GitHub organization sync
Members of the GitHub organization who sign into Scrubby are detected automatically. They don’t get access by default — an admin still needs to invite them, but the dashboard will surface them as “discovered” so you don’t have to remember every username.
Removing a member
From the Team page, click the × next to a member’s name. Removing a member:
- Revokes their MCP access and PR review visibility for the org’s repos immediately.
- Frees their seat for the rest of the billing cycle.
- Does not delete any repositories or indexes — those belong to the organization.
Managing seats
Your Team plan includes a configurable number of seats. From the Team page you can:
- See current seat count and how many are in use.
- Add seats — cost is prorated for the remaining time in the billing cycle.
- Remove seats — reduces the next bill; immediate-billing-cycle credits show up on your next invoice.
Switching plans for an org
Plan changes happen on the Account page, not the Team page. Switching from Pro to Team or Team to Enterprise doesn’t disrupt indexes or PR reviews — it changes the access scope and billing.
For the available plans see Plans & Pricing.
